Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 September 2026
The short version. The Sound Voyages VR app has no accounts, no cookies and no third-party trackers. To use it you give us an email address; sending you news is a separate, optional choice. The app counts which voyages are played so we know what to make next, and because that count carries the same identifier as your email, we can find and delete your records if you ask. We never sell or share your data with anyone.
Who we are
Zigra Servicios Profesionales, S.L. is the data controller.
Mariscal Gutiérrez de Otero 9, L 1 A, 28021 Madrid, Spain · Tax ID (CIF) B86433802
You can reach us at info@zigra.net for anything in this policy.
The email address you give to enter
The app asks for an email address before you can play. We ask for it because it is our only way of knowing the app is used by real people, of answering you if you write to us, and of deleting your data if you ask us to. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running the app responsibly. Together with the address we record the date, the IP address the request came from, the app version and the app's random identifier (see below), so that your records can be found and removed on request.
Newsletter, only if you tick the box. Below the email field there is a box, unticked by default. If you tick it, we will email you when a new voyage is published — nothing else — on the legal basis of your consent. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message or by writing to info@zigra.net. Leaving the box unticked changes nothing about your access to the app.
What the app records while you use it
When you open the app or play a voyage, it sends a short message to our own server containing:
- a random identifier created on your device the first time you open the app;
- which voyage was played, how far you got, whether you downloaded it and whether you marked it as a favourite;
- the app version and whether you are using a headset or a phone.
The identifier is generated at random. It is not your device ID, your advertising ID, or anything issued by Meta, Google or Apple. It is sent along with your email address when you enter the app, so the playback records of a device can be linked to the address given on that device. We use them to understand which voyages hold people's attention; the legal basis is our legitimate interest in improving the app. Clearing the app's data creates a new identifier.
Technical logs
Like every web server, ours keeps standard technical logs of requests (IP address, time and the file requested) for security and troubleshooting. They are kept for no longer than 90 days and are not used to profile anyone.
Who processes your data for us
We do not sell, rent or share your data, and there are no advertising or analytics networks in the app. Two companies process data on our behalf, under our instructions:
- dataSource (Spain) hosts our servers and relays the emails we send. Your data stays in Spain, within the European Union, under a data-processing agreement.
- Google (Google Workspace) hosts our info@zigra.net mailbox, so any message you send us is stored there.
The app is distributed through the Meta Horizon Store; what Meta records when you download or review an app is governed by Meta's own privacy policy, not by us. This website is served entirely from our own servers, fonts included: no third party is contacted when you open it.
How long we keep it
- Playback records: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Your email address and entry record: until you ask us to delete them. Newsletter consent: until you withdraw it.
- Messages you send us: up to 12 months after we reply.
- Technical logs: no longer than 90 days.
Your rights
You may ask us for access to your data, or ask us to correct or delete it, or object to our use of it, by writing to info@zigra.net from the address you gave in the app. Because that address is linked to the app's identifier, we can find and remove your playback records as well. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es).
Children
Sound Voyages VR is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from them.
Changes
If we change how any of this works, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
